In the contact form, fields are provided so users can submit questions or comments and provide contact information including name and email address.  This data is not shared with subcontractors, 3rd party providers, other websites, databases, institutions, persons, or entities. If at any time you would like to stop receiving future emails, contact us using the contact form.

Personal information is collected from users who purchase The PBIS World Book, which includes the users name and email for delivery of the digital book.  PBIS World does not collect or store any financial information such as card/bank account details, etc.  Payments are securely processed by PayPal.com on the PayPal website.

Digital purchase order forms (like those sent through email) are securely stored in a Google account with 2-factor authentication.  Neither this account nor the information stored in it are accessible to or shared with any third parties of any kind.  The stored data will securely remain in this system until the purchaser requests their data be deleted, at which time their data will be permanently deleted.

Orders processed manually, like purchase orders, must be inputed into the 3rd party ecommerce provider, E-Junkie, in order for purchasers to receive The PBIS World Book digital download file.  The only data inputed into E-Jukie from the PO is the name and email of the person, organization, or group receiving The PBIS World Book digital download.  This data is securely stored stored on E-Junkie’s servers until the purchaser requests their data be deleted, at which time their data will be permanently deleted. Neither this account nor the information stored in it are accessible to or shared with any third parties of any kind.

All user data received from the website contact form and payment processors (PayPal and 2 Check Out) is securely stored and protected by industry standard encryption.   This data is not available to or shared with any 3rd party entity, person, group, company, etc.  The stored data will securely remain in these systems until the purchaser or user requests their data be deleted, at which time their data will be permanently deleted.

PBIS World Forum

Users who register on the PBIS World Forum will fill out a registration form that includes a username and email.  This username and email will not be shared with any 3rd parties, businesses, companies, websites, databases, institutions, persons, or entities. Information users post on the forum are visible to anyone visiting the page(s).  Users may not post any personally identifying information of anyone else.  Such information will be deleted from the forum.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to help analyze how visitors use this site. Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report on user interactions on Google Analytics customers’ websites. These cookies are used to store non-personally identifiable information. Browsers do not share first-party cookies across domains.

Ecommerce

PBIS World purchases of The PBIS World Book are securely processed through WooCommerce and PayPal.com.  The WooCommerce shopping cart sets cookies to keep track of what items buyers have added to their cart and their pricing currency. These cookies expire 24 hours after the a buyer’s last cart view. All cart orders in progress are anonymous until the buyer completes checkout, which is the first time any personal information is disclosed to the WooCommerce system, and neither PBIS World nor WooCommerce stores any financial information such as card/bank account details.

All user data received at payment processors (PayPal.com) from any purchasers of The PBIS World Book is securely stored with those payment processors and protected by industry standard encryption.   This data is not available to or shared with any 3rd party entity, person, group, company, etc. The stored data will securely remain in these systems until the purchaser or user requests their data be deleted, at which time their data will be permanently deleted.

Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, like your profile information, even after we/you have deleted the information from our community.

Depending on the context, this applies to some of your information, but not to all of your information. Should you request it, we will provide you with an electronic file of your basic account information and the information you create on the spaces you under your sole control, like your topics (only with your posts), your replies in other topics, private messages and conversations (only with your messages), etc…

We use data hosting service providers to host the information we collect, and we use technical measures to secure your data. 10 Community Forum Rules & Guidlines

  1. No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately.
  2. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
  3. Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by moderators.
  4. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the forums.
  5. Adult content. No profanity or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
  6. Illegal content. No re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted
  7. Do not discuss any confidential information of students, colleagues, clients, patients, etc.
  8. Protect the confidential information of current and future students/clients/colleagues, etc.
  9. If you can’t be sure of protecting someone’s privacy and complying with laws and ethics, don’t post.
