I have a student who has come to me, on a few occasions, complaining about being stressed and frustrated. This feeling has been building up for "about a week now" and primarily happens after math and after lunch when the other students "get loud and chaotic." Her peers are very well mannered though. She said it happens when the teacher leaves the room to use the restroom and when they are at lunch. I have already started working on an activity that highlights things that are in our control versus out of our control, but I'm not sure where to go after that. She has been trying mindful breathing during these situations and she says that sometimes helps but she's just "so stressed." Where should I go next? *There are home life situations as well.*
