The student may:
- Frequently come to school late
- Frequently miss first period or hour
- Linger in halls too long
- Over socializing in between periods
- Have at risk home environment (homeless, poverty, chronic illness, abuse)
- Have a cognitive impairment
- Have physical disability
- Be very slow
- Have trouble navigating the halls and school
- Use the bathroom between breaks
- Be a slow eater (lunch)
- Be disorganized
- Have a messy locker that is difficult to find things in
- Be irresponsible
- Have poor concept of time or lose track of time easily
- Be easily distracted
