The student may:
- Have low academic ability
- Have completed work in their folders, locker, or backpack
- Have a very messy locker, desk, or backpack
- Be inattentive and easily distracted/off task
- Have an unstable home and little parental follow through
- Dislike school and be irresponsible
- Not know the directions or the content
- Be disorganized
- Act out, clown around, or other inappropriate behaviors
- Procrastinate and put things off
- Have a hard time getting started
- Have no sense of urgency
- Create disturbances like noises or conflicts
